Ingredients:
- 200 gr red lentils
- 1/2 can of peeled -tomatoes
- 1 tbsp concentrated tomato
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 garlic clove chopped
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 lime juice
- 1 Celery stalk chopped
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 200 gr shrimps
instructions:
- heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat
- Add the onion, shrimp carcasses, celery salt, pepper and sauté
- Add the garlic and tomato paste and peeled tomato and sauté
- Add hot water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer 20 minutes
- Rinse the lentils well under clear water, drain them then add them to the pot.
- add water until the lentils are covered, cover the pot and simmer over low heat for about 40 minutes.
- once the lentils are tender,remove the soup from the heat
- blend your soup, leave a little lentil unmixed and there we add the shrimps and put back over the heat 7 minutes .
- add lemon juice and serve hot with bread of your choice,garnish with parsley if you like
